Benefits:

This exercise strengthens the chest, tricep and shoulders whilst promoting total body core strength.

Pre-Requisites:

You should be able to perform a normal SB Chest Press and have good core strength before attempting this exercise.

Set Up:

Roll down into a bridge position holding two light DB’s.

Ensure your core is engaged properly.

With the DB’s at chest height slowly lower the hips.

Action:

At the same time as you press the DB’s up towards the ceiling, lift your hips back up to form a level bridge position, exhaling and squeezing the glutes as you go.

As you lower the DB’s, inhale, and slowly drop your hips as well.
